Chance Me.

I normally wouldn’t ask, because I think some of these people are harsh, but BU is my first choice and I would have applied ED had it not been for the fear of getting too little aid.

GPA - 3.9 weighted

AP US - 3

Captain of my school’s mock trial team

Peer tutor.

I was also born in Belarus, wrote about that in my essay.

I failed an honors math class sophomore year…so I know that’s something they’ll look at harshly, but I spoke to my admissions counselor and he said that it would not be something that would automatically cause them to say no to me.

I think you have a really good chance at getting in depending on your major. If it has something to do with math, you might not have as good of a chance. Other than the math thing, you look really good.

bump, please.

Good chances imo. High GPA, good SAT, and a rigorous course load

bump, please.

No way, I’m Belorussian too :). I thought i was the only one lol. You look like a solid BU candidate, given you probably shouldn’t indicate you want to major in math. Hopefully it’ll mean something that we’re from a country Condi called “Europe’s last dictatorship.” Good luck.

even though you failed a math class your gpa is still really high. I would say you’re in. def. at least in CGS.
