Taking Math II and USH later this year.

AP:

Hoping to advance to second round of Chem Olympiad (pretty sure this will happen)
Some Regional Art Awards
Member of Habitat for Humanity
Hoping to intern at a chem lab this summer (and if intern project is interesting, may use that to enter Siemen's competition next year)
More insignificant ones that I won't list

Thanks!!

Assuming you get 4.0 on both semesters this year, you’d have a GPA of approx. 3.79
As for ECs, you’re hoping to do a lot of things. Colleges don’t look at your plans, but instead look at what you’ve done. Based on what you’ve done, your ECs are rather weak for your schools. Since you’re a legacy at UMD, I’d say you have a great shot at it with your GPA and test scores. HPSM and Caltech are going to be reaches, especially MIT and Caltech because your SAT Math isn’t at their average and your ECs don’t reflect too much interest in science (not counting what you’re hoping to do). But, you’re only a junior and you’ve got one year to boost your EC strength and work on killer essays.

In a word, your GPA and SAT scores should make you a good candidate at UCSD, WashU, UMD and CMU. UChicago, UCLA and UC Berkeley are going to be reaches. I put UCLA and UC Berkeley on the reach list because although you’re in-state, they are very picky about GPA. Have you calculated your UC GPA yet?

I can’t really chance you that well for HPSM because it seems to me that you do stand in their rankings, but you’re not quite there yet. Come back when you’ve finished junior year?

Oh, and chance me back please! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1023716-chances-upenn-cornell-rice-uc-berkeley-cmu-nyu-boston-c-rd.html

I’m not sure if i calculated this right, but
1 sem of C - 2 points
2 sem of B - 6 points
9 sem sophomore year of A - 36 points
10 sem junior year of A - 40 points
8 extra points
4.182 UC GPA? T_T
I hope colleges see my upward trend after sophomore year first sem… and I hope that doesn’t ruin my chances.

bumpppp! XD. Wait, is this allowed? ahaha

You must get that 800 for math and chem SAT. If you want to stand a good chance of getting into Caltech, you have to win some nice awards, like siemens, intel, or olympiads. Otherwise, you can only hope for the best. Good luck!
