Chance Me!

Okay so im a junior in high school right now.
My GPA at the moment is a 3.3
My ACT is a 28
And SAT is a 1960

I know that I dont have the best grades, but i plan on getting them up.
Im an African-American Student, Male, and NYU is been my dream school.
I dont like the Finical Aid here, but i wouldn't care if it came to that. Other than NYU I really like Syracuse.
But any ways I plan on applying to the Preston Robert Tisch Center for a B.S. in Sports Management.
I think that this is school is easier to get into than most? Correct me if im wrong. But im not applying to PRTC just because its easy. Sports Management has been my dream "job" always too. Also I do a lot of extra curricular activities too.
My EC:
Student Council (VP Junior Year, and President Elect for senior year)
DECA, which is like business leaders of america. And I am president of that, and won nationals in my competition
I am the founder and president of the African-American Leadership Council at my school
I am the producer of the black history month show at my school
I am in speech, which has high prestige My school is ranked in top ten in the USA
I play varsity Basketball
I'm a golf caddy
I help run a National Magazine for high school teachers nationwide
I take AP Psych, AP Stats, AP Language and Comp (My junior year)
I play varsity baseball too.
I think theres more but I cant think of it.

So I know I don't have the best grades or test scores, but I know that colleges also look at your course load and extracurriculars so i believe that will "balance" it out?
What do you think? I know I can improve my grades also, possibly have a 3.7 by the end of my junior year?

Grades:
GPA is low. Do get that 3.7 by junior year, or at least a 3.6, unweighted.
ACT is weak. Aim for a 30.
SAT is low. Try for a 2100.

Extracurriculars:
Great job with DECA! NYU’ll definitely look favorably on your leadership role in that AND your past wins. Keep up the good work!
Student council positions pretty good.
Athletics are not as important a criteria for schools like NYU who are not big sports schools. Still, doesn’t hurt you.

Misc:
Affirmative action will help you.
Tisch is actually a pretty competitive school, so try to bring up your grades.
Aim for more prominent leadership positions.
Have you taken AP tests yet? 4 is really the minimum you should be getting for a school like NYU.

Conclusion:
If you can bring up your grades, you have a good chance.
