I have about 400 hours of community service (volunteering at the hospital, Cysitc Fibrosis Fountaion, Tutoring Center and the YMCA)
I am President of the school's Quidditch Club (you read that correctly) which has about 74 members
I am Secretary of both the Red Cross Club and the Academic Team Club
I have participated on Academic Team since Frosh year
I am also a member of the STAND Club (global issue club)
I scorkept for National Junior Basketball for freshman and sophmore year</p>

<p>Out of curiosity which school are you applying to? I think your application looks average, are there any particular hooks you have? Penn looks at 9-12 GPA, and though your school doesn’t rank would you say your in the top 5%? 10%? Regardless, I think you stand a chance, don’t worry too much!</p>

<p>I’m applying to the College of Arts and Sciences and unfortunately I don’t know any hooks that I would have :frowning: no sob stories for me. Anyways I would say I’m close to top 10%. I’m just constantly working on my essays to make them stand out but it’s hard for a kid like me haha. I’m just trying to think of that really unique topic that I can develop really well. Maybe I’ll post my common app essay on the site later. Thanks for the insight and I hope I get in!</p>
