Chance Me :)

Too bad I won’t be retaking the SAT  I’ve already taken it 3 times and the December test score will be too late for Cornell to see… unless I get deferred.

Good luck! I think your score is fine. Don’t worry about it.

i think with or without URM status you have a good to very good chance.

Thanks for your opinion blee2011. Maybe I’ll be seeing you there next year? ;)

Hi and your SAT’s are in range so with everything else I seriously doubt it will hurt much. COE has a fairly low acceptance rate for males 17% ± but you look like a strong applicant. Did you list your class rank anywhere? Good luck 10 days!

Yes, I did list my class rank. I believe I saw on old data that males applying to CoE ED had a probability of acceptance in the low 30 percents.

Engineering:---------------------Men 33.40%; Women 54.79%; Total 38%

^2004 ED Admission Statistics

do they have any more recent stats also have you found the other schools? All I have found it the complete stats not the ED stats by college.

Oh, god, I just found the admission stats for ED at CoE. Now I’m seriously worried D:

Men had a 17.2% chance of being accepted last year. Here are the stats from 1990-2010:

yes those are the stats I was able to find. they do not list ed by college where did you find the ed stats for 2004 coe?

Oh, silly me haha. I don’t know how I overlooked that…
