<p>I am a junior in high school and my gpa as of now is about a 3.4-3.5. I go to a very competitive high school in New york. I would like to know what sat scores I would need to possibly get into these schools. I specifically would like to major in engineering. I am taking honors physics right now and plan to take AP physics next year. At the U of Miami i know someone that works there... if i got a letter of recommendation from him would it increase my chances of admission or if i had that person speak with the office of admission. I really would like to get into one of these so please tell me what you would recommend to do.I am a first generation also hispanic.</p>
