chance meee? (:

I've heard Northeastern is becoming much more competitive and selective. I'm becoming worried about my chances of getting in.

I'm applying EA to the Business School and my intended major is International Affairs/International Business.

GPA: UW- about 3.6 W- 4.1
SAT: 2040 M:700 W:700 (essay 10) CR: 630 I know my CR score is really low but if I were to take the test again, it would be my 4th time :/
SAT Subject: Chemistry 650 US History 690
AP Courses:
Junior year- AP Lang&Comp (4)
Senior year- AP Calc
AP Euro History
AP Chinese

EC: Marching Band (3 years, received School Letter Award), Fire department (2 years) about 250hrs, Library volunteer (1 summer about 48hrs), Spectrum volunteer (for mentally disabled, about 30hrs), and CATS thrift shop (about 30 hrs)
Clubs: Chinese club 4 years, Secretary soph year and VP junior year; Model UN 4 years, secretary senior year

My essays are looking pretty good right now and I have complete faith in my recommendations

I'm also female and Asian, which probably won't really help me get in haha.

Thanks to anyone who gives any input :)

Current student in International Affairs. You have strong ECs and SAT scores. I think you’re in. Try to stand out with a unique essay topic and you’ll be in a very good position!

whew thanks! i’m more confident now haha

You have a strong chance. The marching band EC should help and Model UN. But you would have a stronger application if you can say for certain that you are interested in international affairs or international business. They are in different colleges and knowing which one you want will make for a stronger application. You can always change later (it is easier to transfer FROM business than TO business), but if you are unsure, I suggest you apply for business.
