it all looks good, i think NYU is a possibility. And you should try doing Habitat for Humanity, its become very popular around here, and do you play any sports? you gotta have some kind of athletic acitivity you tack on.

Well I think you grades are decent enough for NYU. I don't know if you would enjoy the school tho. My brother said he hated it, instead he just worked very hard for two years and transfered to Harvard.

Personally I went to Georgetown and I've heard decent things about GWU. There are excellent internship opportunities there which would help you get a job in the future.

I think you should apply to UPen. It might be a little reach but my sister did it with slightly better SAT (2050).

Otherwise you should be good for all the schools tho their finance departments aren't the best. UIUC and UMich are good match schools for you. Aim higher, your grades aren't that bad.

ah.. because one of my counsellor said
my ECs are no way good enough for NYU and my SAT break down is too weak to apply to anywhere higher than NYU Cas. hmm. do you have any recommendations to colleges with decent business school or decent cas school?

I have heard that Wake forest has a good business school, but someone please verify this for I am merely using knowledge gained from text and rankings. I am also interested in this field, it would e great if someone replied.

i wouldn't be able to give you any chances, im a junior and have about the same stats as you except with a higher sat score.

would you happen to know how colleges view drum corps. does that show them you have a lot of dedication because this will be my second year in bush, and ive marched winterguard for 3 years. (i dont mean to hijack your thread i just figured maybe you would know)

hmm i actually don't know how drum corps will be looked upon by colleges..
this is my 2nd season with brigs, and im doing it not for college, but just to enjoy.

and i do have sports, 3 years of Varsity Fencing and 1 year of JV golf and 3 years of "varsity" marching band lawl. (got varsity letters for it)
