Honestly, Yale is going to be the hardest to get into, but that’s just the principle of Ivies. You have very impressive stats, but the only thing is so does everyone else who applies. IMO, I think you have the “it” factor that will differentiate you from other candidates. But with 2000+ SAT and some SAT II’s I think you can improve your chances.

Raise your SAT score and your chance will increase.

Beatfreaks;
Thanks. :)

I’m hoping to raise my SAT score to hit at least 2100+.

Also, any suggestions on other colleges to look at as well as which SAT IIs to consider taking?

THANKS!

Hi Miss Murder! I definitely agree that you should raise your SAT score (I need to too!) and as for the SAT IIs, you need to find one that you personally know you will be proficient in, and ideally something that contrasts against the U.S. History or Math to show versatility (language, perhaps?). However, history and math are different enough that you shouldn’t stress out if you really want to test for a humanities or math/science subject :]

As for college suggestions, you can check out the different “personalities” of colleges by signing up for free on College *******. I found it really helpful for chosing which colleges I would really fit in and have fun at.

Hey Demiitasse,

Thanks for replying. That’s the thing with the SATII’s…I don’t know which one’s I’d really wanna take. I hate standarized testing…lol.

And I couldn’t catch that last thing you said…what’s the service?

Oops, it’s College P r o w l e r, without the spaces of course. I found it really helpful! Sorry, CC always tries to block webpages >.<

About the SAT II, I took chemistry, math level 2, and literature. I would suggest the literature one, if you know lit terms pretty well and feel that you can interpret poetry. Chem did not go well for me because I hadn’t covered some of the material, since I hadn’t had an AP chem class, only honors. However, because you took AP chem I would think that you would do well on that test.
