<p>ok...I am a senior now, trying to finalize my college list...but then right now I don't have much idea what schoold I could get into. well so far I am considering to apply to these universities:
U Penn
carnegie mellon
university of virginia
rice university
university of texas at austin
university of washington
texas a&m</p>

<p>Race: asian american
GPA: 3.54 unweighted
3.81 weighted --> i did really bad in freshman year but a lot better later on
SAT 2090 ; will be taking it again soon
SAT II : Math II 800, Biology 750, Chemistry 790
AP: Biology 5, Chemistry 5, Chinese 5</p>

Economics
English 12
AP Calculus BC
AP Physics
Chinese
AP Psychology</p>

<p>I joined JV basketball in 9th grade and JV volleyball in my freshman and sophomore years
junior & senior year I was officer of the environmental club
I did TA for our school's summer camp for two weeks (it was for community service and a lot of our students do it..)
I did an internship at a bank this summer ( I plan to major business/finance)
I play piano out of school <-- dunno if that counts?
recived school's honor rolls during 10th and 11th grade, and AP scholars award</p>

<p>I’m going to have to say no to UPenn, unfortunately, unless your school is a super competitive magnet school where having a 3.54 UW will rank you in the top 10. Carnegie Mellon and UVA are also slight reaches, unless you can up that SAT score, and even then you don’t have very many extracurriculars. The rest are matches, and I think Texas A & M looks like your safety here. So is UT Austin, provided that you are in Texas and you rank in the top 10% of your class.</p>
