Major: Pre-medicine

Is Pre-med considered a major?

Anyway, I think your chances are decent and you’re likely to get in at all the UC’s, and USC. I’m not too sure about the University of Washington, and I think the rest of them are reaches.

Well, like i’m going in the pre-med direction
& mainly aiming towards UC’s…so do you think UCLA is fine? because I want to go there the most :)

• Brown University- Reach
• Stanford University- Reach
• Duke University- Low reach/ match
• Berkeley- low reach
• UC Davis- match
• UC Irvine- match
• UCLA- low reach/ match
• UCSD- match

chanced, & thanks
my junior year grades killllllllll meeeeeeeee

A friend of mine is heading off to UCLA next year, and she didn’t pass the 2000 mark on the SATs, and had 3 B’s her junior year. However, that girl could write… As long as your essay is good, I think you’ll get in.

We’re also an IB school, so the academic rigor of our school is comparable, I think.

Yeah a ton of the seniors at my school got into UCLA/Berkeley with ~2000 & a low rank, so I’m hopeful!

by the way, don’t you just love IB
yay extended essays next year

___+++!+!+!*#&(@#

Yay for being in-state, OOS and I have no doubt that many of them would not have stood a chance at the UC’s.

I am not looking forward to the EE, especially because I procrastinate.

Same here haha, I hate how IB doesn’t even finish until after you’re done with all the college stuff
Although our school did make us write pre-extended essays junior year haha

chance chance chance!
will be back laterzzzzzzzzzzz

Our EE’s our due by September of our senior years, so we have to write them in our junior year for the most part… Or so I’ve heard (as I’m only a rising sophomore).

I think the UCs are definite matches, Brown and Stanford are definitely reach schools, but aren’t they for everyone? Unless of course you are a legacy and your parents have donated millions of dollars to the school…

yaaaaaaaaa

go to a cheap, but good college for pre-med so that u can afford med school. UCLA would be fine. they would be idiots to reject u

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/752367-chance-me-engineering-colleges.html

Why don’t you apply to the Sophie Davis program…?

Get your med degree in 6 years instead of going to regular college and then med school.

Something to think about.
:)

downward trend = uh oh!
:P

stoppppp writingggggg likeeeee thisssssss
