Alright, since your here, you might as well stay.

White, Junior, Male from Massachusetts.

I go to a good public high school that sends a few kids to top schools every year.

Through Sophomore year my cumulative GPA is a 3.85 weighted (school doesn't do unweighted)

3.7 as a Freshman
4.0 as a Sophomore

My average grade so far is probably around a B+/A-. Unfortunately, I got a C+ in honors English as a sophomore. I was unlucky enough to draw one of the hardest teachers in the school, who also happens to be a complete ****. This year, I project around a 4.4 GPA, which would bring my cumulative GPA to around a 4.03. By the time I apply, I will definitely be in the top 10% (don't know where I am now).

So far in high school I have taken the most challenging courses possible. This has killed my GPA, but at least I am challenging myself and I have an upward trend.

As a sophomore, I took the only AP class available (World History) and got a 4 on the exam. The rest of my schedule was honors classes. This year I take 3 APs (Economics, Stats, and US History) and 4 honors classes.

I haven't taken the SAT, ACT, or any subject tests yet. Please do not say "we can't chance you until we know your official scores."

Here is what I project/expect/hope to get.

SAT- 2200. I would be happy if I got a this score, but thrilled if I got a 2300. I'm planning on taking this at least once (up to three times if necessary).
ACT- 34. Plan on taking this one or two times.
Subject Tests-
Physics and US History: Around a 760
Math I/II: 800

I'll list the ECs that come to my head:
-Basketball 4 years (I've been playing all my life)
-Cross Country 4 years (possibly Captain senior year)
-Track (possibly Captain senior year)
-Tutor (kids and adults) at a school a couple towns over
-Math Team 2 years (possibly Captain senior year)
-Original Teen Leadership Council Member (we helped/designed a teen center in our town)
-CCD; will be confirmed later this year; might teach when I'm a senior
-Will be inducted to NHS in the future

There's a few more, but my brain is a little frazzled right now.

Awards:
Nothing major. "Coaches award" for basketball sophomore year. I also have like 6 silver medals on the National Latin Exam dating back to seventh grade and will be inducted into NHS.

And now the colleges; please chance me for the following schools (use my projections as test scores, I will update with exact results later in the year):

U Mass Amherst
U Miami
BU
Boston College - Legacy (Brother)
Holy Cross
NYU
USC
UCLA
UC Berkeley
Notre Dame - Possible legacy (Uncle)??

Any recommendations for schools I should look into? I just started the college search process, so any help would be appreciated.
