I'm a girl interested in STEM, I was hoping this would help my chances.... :[

Being female certainly helps. Having perfect stats also help your chances to the top STEM schools.

MIT - low reach
Caltech - high match

b u m p n_n

MIT-Reach
Cal Tech-Low Reach

Hope you get into at least one! Chance me back please!

MIT and Caltech are low reaches for nobody, even the perfect student (as you are ;)).
However, you’re HIGHLY competitive for both schools. I expect you to get into at least one of them.

Best of luck! :)

Neither. Even with a perfect GPA and perfect test scores, chancing you is not really possible for schools where the majority of people accepted are literally just as academically proficient as you are. Check out some GPA/SAT graphs on some websites to see how many people with 2400s and 4.0s still get rejected. I’d say you have a relatively good shot compared to the rest of the applicant pool (although still slim of course). Good luck!
