Chance my appeals?

I would really like to go to Davis. And I was wondering what my shot is at possibly appealing.

My Senior grades so far is a 4.125, in two weeks I have finals so my GPA should be a 4.23.
This term I have also served on the school board for in our district.
I have served as a WASC student representative for our schools accreditation.
I also won a state wide writing competition on improving California’s public education system. (1 of 5 out of 700 essays)

I also think I can get great recommendations from my AP Physics teacher, my Student Government director (my best work as Student Body President I have done during this semester), and a truly personal letter from our school’s principal.

Do I have a shot, or am I just wasting my time?

i think the only information relevant in an appeal is any new information and not simply increased grades, or a repetition of your academic stats. i believe the only case an appeal is worthwhile is when a personal circumstance disabled your ability to succeed and therefore, get rejected. also, i think only one personal letter is accepted? i may be wrong.

good luck!

just remember you'll succeed wherever you go.
