<p>Caltech is a very, very close 2nd choice for him, after MIT.</p>
<p>Why else should he come to CalTech? It’s very clear from the admissions information sessions he’s gone to that they like to play up the “nerdy” stereotype, but why should he go to CalTech over, let’s say, Duke or Harvard? (he has added to his list.)</p>
