His schools:

Harvard
Yale
Princeton
Stanford
MIT
Penn-Wharton Jerome Fisher (Wharton backup)
Columbia
UChicago
Dartmouth
Duke
UVA
CMU
Ga Tech
UF
Miami

He's interested in engineering and finance, namely investment banking, as possible career options. He's considering applying to Jerome Fisher @ Wharton ED or Princeton SCEA.

I also just got admitted to Wharton ED and will be matriculating this fall. Does legacy include siblings? Or does it only count if your parents went?

I think Jerome Fisher M&T and MIT might be more difficult than many of the other schools listed, partially due to the lack of business/engineering extra-curriculars. I think a liberal arts platform like Princeton’s might suit him better, regardless of what he eventually wants to do, based on what his application might look like. It will probably all come down to essays - GPA and test scores are of course excellent, EC’s do the job, what you write will likely be the tiebreaker

Harvard - reach
Yale - reach
Princeton - reach
Stanford - high reach
MIT - high reach
Penn-Wharton Jerome Fisher (Wharton backup) - very high reach for Jerome Fisher M&T, reach for Wharton
Columbia - reach
UChicago - reach
Dartmouth - reach
Duke - lower reach
UVA - low reach
CMU - low reach
Ga Tech - match
UF - match
Miami - match

Are you sure UChicago would be a high match? Isn’t their acceptance rate ~8-9% or so? Also, if he applies to Penn SEAS or CAS, does it become a whole lot easier?
