Chance my daughter for Northwestern, NYU, Barnard, UCs, and Ivies?

My daughter is almost done with her Junior year. She really wants to go to Columbia or Princeton, but is realizing that this is not likely.
Don’t mean too sound harsh, but fresh off an onslaught of rejections the past two days, I’d say I might be qualified in giving this analysis: Not a chance. ACT needs to be WAYYYYYY higher. or SAT. I was rejected ED from Columbia with a 32 ACT, 2140 SAT and 3.8 GPA, similar ECs and community service, and NM commended scholar and 11 APs. That being said, there is still ample time to increase her odds. Retake ACT and aim for at least a 33 (or SAT and at least 2200). But as of right now, all the Ivies, Northwestern, and NYU are all high reaches. USC would be a low reach. UCLA and UCB would be a high reach (unless you’re in state in which case I’d say low reach). Again, just focus on improvement during senior year. Especially with the standardized tests.

might look at schools like Holy Cross, Trinity, URichmond. HC is a top25 LAC with great campus not far from Boston.
