<p>My daughter is not a great academic student, mostly C's, GPA: 2.6uw / 2.9w. She has all of the core classes and some AP's, solid community service and EC's. Have not received her first SAT scores back yet. She is however a solid waterpolo player and would like to play in college. Most junior colleges don't offer this option so we are looking to see if she has a chance of admittance to the below list and general advice.</p>

<p>Only somewhat familiar with ASU. </p>

<p>She would need a 1110 on the SAT or 24 ACT to apply since her GPA is below 3.0 (4.0 scale) and I’m assuming she isn’t top 25%. However, if she can meet that standard, ASU has an 89% acceptance rate.</p>

<p>She just got her SAT results 530/500/520 so 1550 combined.</p>

<p>Cal State Bakersfield would probably give her a full ride, especially if she is a latina</p>
