Chance my daughter

This is my first post. I hope I get the hang of it.

My daughter is a Senior in High School and is just starting to nail down her schools to apply to. One of her selections is Northwestern. This may be a bit of a reach for her. What do you think?
She will be the first in family to attend college. Major unknown. Maybe something in business or communications.

She attends a small high school in California.
Good student 4.14 GPA.
Challenging classes all 4 years, many honors and 2 AP's last year and 3 this year.

Has taken the SAT and ACT one time each. Scores 1910 and 31. Will take each one more time in October.

Played Varsity VB all 4 years. Captain this year.
Part of the school musical all 4 years (including the lead role Freshman year and principal roles the other 3).

UW gpa? That’s a good question. I just checked her account. Weighted gpa is 4.4 but it doesn’t show unweighted. Will need to find this out. Thank you for your response!

Just do a simple calculation on uwGPA using As=4, Bs=3, etc. Aim for 3.85+ in GPA and 2200+/33+ in SAT/ACT to have a better chance at NU.

Now your D should look for matches and safeties…
