Chance at NYU. Would it be better to apply ED or RD? I need answers quick because the ED deadline is November 1. Thanks!

also to note, applying into Stern’s Business School

would you be able to improve your GPA by the midterm report?

It’s a reach. Much better chance if you’re top 10%, with higher scores and if you’re full pay.

hmm i may be able to improve my GPA but not by much. GPA may reach 3.5 though

would it be better to apply ED rather than RD? according to online site:

Admissions Statistics (Fall, 2009)
Number of Applications: 36,944
Percent Offered Admission: 29.4%
Number of Early Decision Applications: 2,979
Early Decision % of Class: 28.5%
Number of New Freshmen: 4,650

so if you do a bit of math that would mean 1325/2979 of the ED people got accepted meaning 44% of the people got accepted. is my math right? how is the ED pool compared to the RD pool of applicants? more competitive, same stats, or lower stats?

If you really want to go there then you should definitely apply ED. I think you have a chance. It’s definitely worth applying. Best of luck!:)
