Chance My Friend for Columbia and a couple other ivys!

<p>She's really freaked out she won't be accepted into her top schools. Her number one is Columbia, but she's also considering Harvard, Princeton, Cornell and Yale. Help her out! She's convinced she won't get into any of these.</p>

Class rank: 10/589
AP scores: Euro History (4), U.S. History (5), Biology (5), English Lang (5), English Lit (4), Spanish (5), French (4),
Highly accredited high school ranked in the top 100 in the nation
Is currently enrolled in all AP classes ( AP Physics, AP World Lit, AP Calc BC, AP Spanish Literature, AP Economics) </p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
Playing hockey for 8+ years (state championship twice)
Track & Field for 5 years (state meet last year, ranked 4th)
Cross Country for 2 years
held down a job for about 2 years now
Math Team
* the sports kind of sucked up all her time for other activities..</p>

<p>anyone? what do you think? I thought she had a good chances of getting into all of these schools...</p>

<p>Is she recruited or otherwise in contact with the coach for hockey or track? That might give her a boost. Otherwise a good chance, but you can never tell with HYP or Columbia College. Cornell should be a low reach.</p>
