<p>I believe Stanford holds SAT 2's to be pretty important, so that might hurt.</p>

<p>Stanford doesn't require them anymore. THey shouldn't have started saying they dont need them this year if they wanted them</p>

When did they say that? They "strongly recommend" them, and ask specifically for Math II.</p>

<p>Hm, I went to the "Discovering Stanford" thing with an adcom and he didn't make them seem important at all. It just seems like there'd be a reason why they'd discontinue the requirement, i dunno</p>

<p>Based on other stuff, though, how is her app looking? Her essays are amazing, btw (she was with me when I typed it and was being modest)</p>
