Chance my friend for top schools please!

Hi guys, one of my other friends asked me to make a chance thread for him. Here goes:

State of Residence: CA (born in NJ, lived in India for 6 years, moved to WA, and then to CA)

Rank: Very bottom of 2nd decile, but definitely top 25% (based on UW GPA)

You don’t get response probably because people don’t like to chance friends.

and it’s hard for top colleges since they all look for something “unique” and it’s hard to judge how “unique” a person is really.

but I’d say his SAT score is a little low for top tier

Ok wait I forgot to mention some stuff. He’s working on starting a charity, and right now, he and my friend group are in an organization that cleans up the city on weekends.

I think what UC’s look for a good grades. He’s good for UCD and UCI, but his scores are a bit low for the top 3 UC’s

for private schools like UPenn, they’re looking for EC’s related to your major. Awards that are nationally recognized. (like Junior Achievement or something)

I don’t know much about GW, American, NYU, or Boston, so I can’t really judge him for these schools…
