Chance my friend for UCD and UCI!

My friend's trying to do a UC-UC transfer from UCM to UCD or UCI for Biomedical Engineering. I personally am a UC-UC transfer from UCSC to UCD (Physics). Just wanted to get some insight as I'm unfamiliar with the Engineering transfer process.

GPA: 3.45 (UCM and a few units from summer session at community college).
Units done by Spring: Well over the 90 minimum requirement.

Prereqs: All done, except for Engineering 17 (Circuits).

What do you guys think? Thanks!

I think your friend has a pretty good shot. 3.4 is the GPA required to TAG (at least for UCI), so being there even without the TAG is probably good enough… I’m not sure how selective the school of engineering is compared to other majors though.

Bump! Anyone else have any insight? Decisions are about a month away!

Good chance for UCI, in at UCD
