Well, anyone who says that you’re not qualified is crazy. However, just to make sure that you don’t appear to the colleges as just another super smart math kid, make sure your personality really comes out in your common app essay and your supplements. They don’t need to be flowery or poetic; just make sure you show your colleges who you are and where you come from.

I would say that you’re ‘in’ at Carnegie Mellon.
DEFINITELY ‘in’ at University of Washington.
I would say UPenn is a match; Penn is slightly less selective than the other Ivy League schools you’re applying to.
As for MIT, Stanford, Princeton, Dartmouth, and Columbia, I’m going to say that they’re all reaches. I think you have a shot at getting into any of them, but you just never know with schools that selective.

I hope this helped.

PS: Stanford is fantastic. If I applied and got in, I would be there in a heartbeat.

without good essays and EC’s, you really have no chance at MIT, stanford, dartmouth, princeton

carnegie mellon and washington-no prb

penn and columbia-good chance. good essays will definitely help

bumppp…will chance back!

UPenn - high match
MIT - reach
Stanford - reach
Princeton - reach
Dartmouth - high match
Carnegie Mellon - in
Columbia - low-mid reach
University of Washington - in
