I'm currently a senior and was wondering if you guys can give me some analysis?
I'd just like to know my chances since this is one of my number one school. Though I applied to all the UC's, I love San Diego the best but I heard that because they admit based on a point system, it is very hard to get admitted.

Essays: I would like to think these are pretty strong >< but some of my other classmates wrote pretty DARN GOOD essays.

One essay was about my experience in school in China. I talked about how it made me more independent. It was a pretty strong essay (I hope).

The second essay was about how I wanted to explore the world outside my small city, and that made me want to apply to schools outside of southern california.

I also wrote a short paragraph noting that I had a reaaaally big drop in my GPA sophmore year (2.8 GPA) because after I came back from China, I wasn't really prepared to come back up to the standard of work that my home high school had. But in junior year, I really brought it up with straight A's (and 1 B)

Thanks a bunch for reading through all this!
