since your new to this site, chance me threads for upper tier universities are a waste of time as it is impossible to chance you but you will be competitive for admission at UNC.

btw, my school acceptance rate to UNC is 35%

That’s pretty high for out of state. My daughter’s HS accepted 2 students since 2012 with about 40 applying.

Wow! Our students have a much higher acceptance rate to Cornell than to UNC OOS. We typically have 5-6 Cornell acceptances.

To the OP- you are certainly within the range of a possible acceptance, but it’s impossible to chance you at this particular school as an OOS applicant. There is an 18% cap for OOS students. We learned these 2 things at orientation: UNC values giving back to the community, and 65% of the incoming class graduated numbers 1-10 from HS ( for schools that rank 1-10). Good luck!
