Just so you know, this actually IS my sister; it's not like those 'Chance my FRIEND (wink wink)' threads.

She's a rising junior for the upcoming school year.

GPA: 4.0 cumulative (weighted). Our high school doesn't have unweighted because there is a pretty big margin between honors/AP versus regular courses.

ACT: She's only planning on taking the ACT. I think a really solid guess for what her highest score might be is 27-28. She got a total of 175 on the PSAT last year.

Courseload: There might be some holes here because I can't remember every single class for freshman and sophomore! Also, we're on a trimester schedule.

E.C:
She's very focused with her EC's. Her life has revolved around dance since the age of two.
Competitive Dance (hip hop/jazz/lyrical/pom/musical theatre)- 10 yrs
School Dance Team- 3 yrs
Photo Club- 1 yr
Yearbook- 1 yr

Awards:
Her dances have won 11th, 8th, and 1st in a prestigious national dance competition
Awards for maintaining a 4.0

Recs: Teachers like her, she'll be fine.
Essay: She's not the best writer, but definitely not bad! They'll be alright.

She's mainly concerned because her friends are seriously piling it on junior year! With trimesters it's totally possible to take two math courses in year as well as a whole mess of AP's! She won't have completed any AP's when it's time to apply so that's kind of scary. She knows she'll take AP French senior year (that's why she's on an accelerated track this upcoming year). She's interested in graphic design or architecture as a major.

A lot of colleges on this list are ones we toured but she might not even apply. I listed them by interest level.

Chance her for:
University of South Carolina
Clemson
University of Southern California
New York University
Northwestern (doesn't even have her prospective major, but she might change her mind)

P.S. All of these are out of our state.
