Ok, if you're still reading.....

a) thanks

b) What other schools should she apply to? I personally feel like there aren't a lot of safety options included on her prospectives list, but at the same time, I'm not sure what safety schools she should apply to. She wants to pursue either business, psychiatry, communications (as a double), marketing, or intellectual history. Oh, she will be a first gen college student and we come from a difficult socioeconomic background / a lot of life obstacles blah blah...

oh another question is, what are some schools she could apply to that put a lot of emphasis on interviews?

With the assumed 2100 SAT score:

Babson - low match
UNC-Chapel Hill - reach (OOS)
Harvard - reach
Uni Chicago - reach
MIT- reach
UPenn - reach
Columbia - reach
CMU - match
Brown - reach
UCLA - high match
Northwestern - low reach
Berkeley - low reach
NYU - match
Dartmouth - reach
Uni of Wisconsin - match
UCSD - match
Uni of Illinois - match
Rice - high match
Yale - reach
Duke - reach
University of Virginia - low reach
St. Olaf - match
UCI - match
UCSB - match

Private schools will put more emphasis on interviews. The UCs do not give interviews. Duke interviews are solely informational and do not affect your chances of acceptance.
