I am instate and am in the top 15% of my class.
I have had only one standard class every year except last year with none. Other than that I had all honors classes and AP.
AP: Last year: Chemistry (3) Environmental (4 and didn't take class) US History (3) Language and composition (2) This year: Physics B, Calculus AB, Biology.
Also I am doing a lot better this year with all A's and one B.
Thank you!

Definitely consider studying those SATs again. UMass does not care about writing, which they tell prospies on tours. Work on math and CR. Again, all of that being said, context matters. Your SATs are low for the school’s average, but it looks like you’ve done within the context of your school. I would look elsewhere to be safe. You do have a good shot, though.

OK thank you! I am applying early for November 1st, however. My counselor said that my ACT was a little better than my SAT but I just took the ACT again yesterday and felt really good about it. The only thing is that my new ACT scores won’t be ready for the November 20th credentials deadline. If I don’t get accepted this time, is there a possibility of them putting me into the regular applicant pool and get my new ACT scores? Thank you!

Admissions can accept, defer, or reject during ED decisions. If you’re deferred, then your more recent tests will matter in the next round.
