Just kidding. You have a decent shot at BC considering you have a 96.7 GPA with some of the honors and awards you mentioned. However, your 2000 sat could bring you down a little bit. Also, can you describe about the “rigorous” courses you mentioned? Like APs and what sorts?
Also, doing sports you mentioned for FOUR years shows a GREAT commitment, and the other ECs help you with the admission process as well. I think you have a shot at it imo.

However, for the other schools you mentioned below like western and hopkins, I don’t know about them. Admission process for those schools is pretty rough, and your scores certainly do not fit in the criteria for some of the schools you mentioned. UVA and Hopkins, you want to be in the 75% of scores to have a great shot, and your 2000 is in the high 20 percentile so…

LOL. Trust me dude, you have a chance. I can say this from experience…
Most of my friends had avg scores and GPA. most had like 2000+ and 3.6+ gpa. Nothing too outstanding.
And as for extracurricular activities…as long as you are PASSIONATE and DEVOTED to one activity you should be fine. Supplements are the important things that differentiate you from the rest.
So I would be worried about that more…
Good luck man. #Eagles4lyfe

@iob1950 and @sampim thank you both so much for your responses! and thanks for your advice! I guess if I at least have as good shot, I will still try. I will look into some more schools where I’d be in the top percentile, somewhere I’m more likely to get in.
