Hello!

I recently applied for MSU, and I was wondering what the chances are that I will actually get accepted. I met all of the transfer criteria prereqs and such, I'm just worried that my GPA is too low at the moment.

I currently go to a community college in my area, I have 52 credits, and a 3.271 cumulative GPA. I'm going into a limited enrollment major (Hospitality business, which requires a 2.5 minimum). I got a 24 on my ACT. I was under the assumption that I didn't even need to send my ACT information, considering I have so many college credits, but for some reason the Application Status Check system says that my ACT scores have been received... (from 2006, too?)

Anyway, thoughts? I really don't know how competitive MSU is for in-state transfer students, and I'm hoping maybe some of you would know more.

From what I've read it seems like anything in the 3.0-3.4 range is a 50% gamble. Ah well. I guess I won't know until the letter comes.

Thanks.
