Hi these are my stats And I was wondering what my chances are for getting into this school. My SAT scores are not too hot and I'm a bit worried. I applied for Fall 2010 Early Admissions. I had visited the campus and I really like it there. Should I be worrying about not getting in?

Thanks

you’re in easily.
good GPA!!!
hope the rest of the college process goes well, it can be a stressfull time

Thank you I posted the same post in the other form and they said my SAT CR was low and I would have a 40% acceptance rate. He said my class rank doesn’t match my SAT score. He Also said that in his school everyone in the top 25% got 2100. (<–WTH). Well not everyone is good at the SAT (me lol). Also I am taking very challenging Math/Science Courses (ex.Multivariable<—Calculus 3 in college) and I still have a high GPA. Am I really a good match for this school?

According to Naviance at our HS, the averages for accepted students at UB were 89.12 GPA and 1131 SAT (CR/M) - again, this is from the students at our HS. There’s never a guarantee, but I hope this helps.

I met a woman last night who has two kids at UB. They both love it. My D applied and we visit next week.

Good luck to you!

I know the statistics of UB and I guarantee you will be accepted. I applied in March and I had comparable stats with you (a little lower, but not by much) and I got accepted to UB, Penn State and Syracuse. UB is a MASSIVE school and they have a lot of spaces in the Freshman class to fill. You will be fine. You have a good GPA, an average SAT score and you are in a bunch of honor societies… Just remember: bigger schools accept more people… But apply early since getting housing on your preferred campus can be difficult… Although there are ways around it…

According to the information you provided, you are a candidate that will most likely get into UB. Your SATs sound like the only weak part that you are worried about and they are not too bad. Good luck and I hope you get in!!
