Hello all, my name is Graham. I am planning on applying to Dartmouth College regular decision.

Hooks:
My uncle is a faculty member.
I'm African-American.

Pretty good chances but I think you should focus more on academics. For instance, my sister was in Princeton and she indicated that Ivy League really look at your academics. Are there any competitions you were in, any awards? Indicate those. I participated in National Olympics of Geography and got a 3rd place, if you have something like this(a competition) chances that you will be taken are augmenting.

lol your name’s the same as my roommate’s, and your stats are almost identical to mine. I’m Asian and I got in, so getting in should be no problem for you.

SAT scores- CR and Biology were well below 800! (do you plan to re-take?)

Only volunteering 40 hrs/week x 10 weeks over the summer?
AP music theory but no music ECs?
Published a novel with only “adequate success”?

Sounds like a deadbeat. Everyone knows that Dartmouth requires the publication of a “successful” novel prior to the applicant’s senior year of high school.

You should start out shooting for a local community college…
