Just wondering what my chances are of getting into Brown.

I am a Jewish, black male from North Carolina.

SAT- 2100
ACT- 31

My weighted GPA is 4.63
Unweighted is 3.9

AP’s include:
Sophomore year: Psych (4)
Junior Year (Currently): Bio, AB Calc, Lang
Senior Year: Lit, Government and Politics, US History, and Stats

Varsity Tennis- 1 Year (All-Conference Player) (Former Top 20 North Carolina Player for boys 12s) (Tennis for 10 years)

B’nei Brith Youth Organization chapter President and secretary, former VP of recruitment and membership (For the chapter within my city) (I one time orchestrated a Purim carnival with the chapter president of the female chapter that raised $1200 to go to various organizations)

Working as an assistant teacher for Sunday School (working with 2nd graders… yikes.)

I understand that some of this stuff might be irrelevant when it comes to applying but I guess it doesn’t hurt to include it here…

Do you guys think I’d have a chance?

Are you being recruited for tennis? While not unheard of, you are on the lower end with a 31 ACT…you need a defined hook.

Your stats and EC’s look decent…were you thinking of applying early? Also, the whole Afro-Judaeo thing can be a real “hook” if you will. I’d condense those EC’s down to a key few so it doesn’t look like your in everything for the sake of being in everything.

Well that improves your chances a lot. I’d say a 7/10 chance…maybe 8.5/10 if you condense your ECs

Many of the things I listed were in relation to one of the broader ECs, so I could definitely do that. Thanks for the confidence boost! @codemachine
