Hi, I’m a high school junior and I wanted to know what my chances are of getting into Stony Brook.
GPA: 3.6
New SAT: 1320 (I know it’s not too good, but I’m retaking in a month and have been prepping)
ACT: 29 (This was my first time and I’m retaking)
Clubs/Activities/Leadership:
- Student Council
- French Club
- Anatomy Club
- United Help (community service club)
- Orchestra (I play the violin)
- National Honors Society
- National Society of High School Scholars
- TreesCount! (an organization that promotes the planting of trees, helping with climate change)
- Hydroponics Club
- I've also taken a Computer Science college class this year, next year I am taking 2 more college classes *
Major: I haven’t decided but one of the following:
- Environmental Science
- Computer Programming
- Political Science
