You have a very good chance…My son applied early action last year and did not hear until a few days before Christmas.

Thank you for the response. I appreciate the feedback.

@mytwosons that makes me optimistic. I haven’t heard anything yet either.

I don’t see why not, you have a good chance. Friend got accepted with 3.6 GPA and 1580 on SAT last year.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, it has been very stressful lately, and positive reinforcement goes a long way.

Yes I have not heard back yet either I applied November 1st
I think you can make it (All students in New Jersey have a better chance even if their academic statistics are a lot lower than the average)

Do you think I have chance for NB Business? 1860 combined SAT - 29 ACT - GPA 3.0865 500+ volunteer hrs and varsity tennis captain - started a business :/

thorn8887 you definitely have a good chance at acceptance! GPA is a little on the low side but your ECs and SAT score is on par. I got in a couple of weeks ago, hopefully I’ll see you there!

Thanks man and congrats

Thorn, son got in to RBS last year with similar stats…although his classes were all honors and his GPA was 3.1 out of 4.0.

@mytwosons okay thanks for the information and also living in NJ helps a lot… I am taking 3 APs this year took 1 in 10th and a lot of honors as well though (all honors 9th grade)

For the most part Rutgers looks at your SAT scores+GPA, in your case it would be the ACT, which is at the lower end of the 50% who get in (28-32). Your GPA is well above average for Rutgers. Therefore, I believe that you will most definitely get accepted. Good luck!

Thanks AfghanPhenom… Still no answer from Rutgers, anybody else get accepted with similar statistics?

I finally got my response back after 11 week and I am accepted!

Congrats Socce24!!
