I am a junior, almost senior at a university now and want do an internship at a big four firm. However, my gpa is only 3.1 and my accounting gpa is a 3.7. I have interned for almost a year at a fortune 500 companie in the accounting department and have a "E-board" position in beta alpha psi also. So my extracurriculars are pretty good just my gpa is low. How likely am I to get a big four interview? or what should I do now to improve my chances? All of the big four recruit at my school but it seems like they only hire 2-3 interns each.

Your GPA will hurt you a lot, but you have a chance.

What I am most concerned about in the OP’s post is that this guy holds an executive position on his schools Beta Alpha Psi club. However comes to this board for advice. I would think that freshmen and sophomores would go to a exec-board member like him for advice.

You’ll get an interview I think.

I figured a lot of people on this forum would have good advice and personal experiences more than just people in beta alpha psi, which is mainly filled with students such as myself.

Also, I was recently elected (this winter semester).

The exec positions are a resume padding joke. I served as e-vp solely because it is the position at my school that interacted with all the speakers, so I was able to network like crazy. Younger students came to me for advice but I certainly wasn’t holding information sessions because I felt like it was my duty.

workingatbig4, do you think your position has helped you land your big four job?

Yes. I was communicating weekly with partners and managers of all big 4 firms, national firms, f500 companies, etc… It was an incredible way to network.
