<p>After lurking this site for a few hours i decided to make an account. Very useful site, i love the different opinions everyone has on certain schools. Anyway, back to business.</p>
<p>I recently graduated from a HS (In-state) back in May 08. I took a year off afterwards to backpack europe and all that good stuff. Had a wonderful time but now i'm back home (Dallas) and its time to start my college experience. Sadly my stats arent quite impressive, at all. Graduated in the 50% percentile (class of 968), 1300 SAT and my only EC was Varsity Wrestling for two years. I sent applications to every school in Texas that i liked and amongst them of course, was UT. </p>
<p>With UT I sent everything in right before the extended deadline. A few days later I received my Login ID to check my Application status and it says "Because your application was not completed by the deadline, we're not able to consider you for admission at this time. Late applications are considered only if space remains available."</p>
<p>My question is, will i still be offered the CAP program even though my application was "late"? I dont mind getting CAP'd at all. It is basically my only possible gateway into UT.</p>
