Chance of getting in

Hey. I am currently a Junior in high school and i'm wondering what the chances of getting into different colleges are.

I have a 3.75 weighted GPA

I've taken 3 AP classes (going to take 2-3 more senior year)

All honors classes, never had a regular class

National Honor society, Cotillion club

Alotta community service hours

What do you think my chances of getting into FSU, USF, and UCF are

I would say UF too but I think the chances of that are slim to none

P.S. I took the SAT and got a 1560 freshman year, and i've been preparing quite a bit so i'm expecting 1750-1800, I also just took the ACT today

I dont think your chances at UF are slim to none. You look pretty good but if you want to close to ensure your spot then try to get involved in a bit more extracurriculars.

Ahh. I’m definitely going to apply, but I am certainly not counting on it. I think the GPA kills me. 3.75 weighted isn’t my potential. I really messed up my first 2 years with a 3.6 weighted and this year so far I have a 4.0, working on a 4.25 (shouldnt be too difficult)

I may add that I am a legacy for FSU

My Mom, both my grandmas, my uncle & my aunt all went there. Not sure how much being a legacy helps though haha

Another question; Say I have my sights set on a school (I’m really set on FSU, for some reason I’m very paranoid about getting in) should I apply ED? Will my chance of getting accepted increase?

Colleges like to see growth and a lot of the time, it is shown through an upward trend of grades

Ooh didn’t know that. Thanks :D
