Chance of getting into Baylor University?

I have a 3.43 GPA on a 4 point scale.
My rank is the top 27% of my competitive high school, with a rank of 147 out of 577.
My SAT score is 1730 total with a near perfect writing score, which I heard Baylor does look at. I have consistently taken difficult classes throughout my high school career including many APs.
AP World History-3
AP US History-4
AP Human Geography-4
AP English Language Composition-3
Although my academics are average my extra curriculars make me stand out. I was in LINK Crew crew for two years, an officer for one year. This program focuses on helping freshmen. I was on the dance team for 2 years and an officer for one year. I am in PALS for one year, which is a leadership organization. Freshman year I was apart of a freshman club and student council. I am also in French club. On top of that I am in both National Honor Society and French National Honor Society. I volunteer frequently and have over 200 hours of volunteering under my belt from the start of freshman year. I would REALLY appreciate some feedback on my chances of getting into Baylor. I am planning on applying Single Choice early admission, which will hopefully increase my chances of getting in. Thank you!

I wouldn’t be too worried. My friend did meh in high school but was an active member in orchestra and ended up with a full ride scholarship to Baylor.

Honestly man, you can get into Baylor. I have had friends with ranks and SAT scores worst than you get in. Ex: I had a friends with a 3.2 GPA with a 1650 SAT, who got in this year!

It depends upon your stats, ECs, hooks and naming Baylor as your first choice. If I were you, I’ll take SAT again to ensure admission and to earn some merit money. Baylor is rising pretty fast and acceptance is getting harder every year.

Thanks for the feedback. I’m planning on applying Single Choice Early Action, so hopefully that will increase my chances! However because the deadline is so early I don’t have the opportunity to retake my SAT in time for the application. Do you think I can still get in with the credentials mentioned above?
