Chance of getting into McGill

<p>I have a weighted gpa of 3.56
SAT score of 2080</p>

<p>I have done extra curricular courses in phlebotomy, Radiology, Medical Assisting, and MRI Technology.Also I have a diploma in Medical assisting, and phlebotomy.</p>

<p>I have worked as medical assistant(paid) for various physicians, for the san jose medical group.
and also worked in India as a Medical Assistant(volunteer)</p>

<p>I have done three medical internships. two abroad (India and England), and one at El Camino Hospital.</p>

<p>I have participated in 4 sports during my highschool career . ( water polo, tennis, Taekwondo, and Boxing)
I have competed and won multiple tournaments for Taekwondo, and I am a registered Black belt</p>

<p>I have had 3 other jobs during my high school career(besides the medical assisting)</p>

<p>I have approximately 105.3 hours of community service. (soup kitchen and church)</p>

<p>and I have also helped construct and maintain school plays</p>

<p>McGill does not look at applicant extra curricular activities or sports participation as factors for acceptance. Your GPA and SAT score will be mostly what they use to determine acceptance. Depending on which faculty you apply to, the admission standard can be quite different and more/less difficult to get accepted.</p>
