I was wondering if anyone thinks I have even a chance at getting into princeton? Freshman year i got a 3.5 uw, 4.0 w, sophomore yeat first sem a 3.66 uw, 4.16w, second sem a 3.83 uw, 4.3 w. Junior year first sem a 4.0 4.66 weighted second sem 3.83 uw 4.5 w. I have an almost perfect growth trend but my overall unweighted is 3.72 and weighted 4.27

My hook is my extracurricular. While i dont have a million ecs with community service i do have dance. I dance more than 20 hours a week, have won many awards in dance, and i work in every spare moment to pay for dance since my family cannot afford it. I am very passionate about it and plan to emphasize it on my application and also send an arts supplement.
Princeton has a very large dance community, and so does anyone think i have even a shot at getting in?
If your main future direction for your future is dance, you should try to apply to some schools specifically through their performing arts application like Stanford’s that take video submissions too.
Oops, left out a pretty important part. I plan to do pre med, but i want to keep dance a part of my life because it means so much to me. I really like princeton because of the amazing dance companies on campus and the rigorous academics.
Just judging by the very few kids from my daughter’s school ever accepted in Princeton, they were all over 4.5 GPA and 2300 SAT.
My daughter is also a competitive dancer, 20 + hours a week here too, it definitely a different kind of lifestyle! I hope it’s a hook, but I’m not sure it will be.
