We built a solar car for the Winston solar challenge and placed in the top 5 in our first year. We were the only high school in our ENTIRE state to participate in such an event.

I am an AP Scholar with Honor.
In the National Honor Society
In the Spanish National Honor Society

Btw, I’m one of 2 Hindus attending a small Catholic High School.

I am fluent in Gujurati and Hindi.

I have a lot more for extra curricular, but I’m not going to put down everything.

You are in the possible range for Princeton. The only ones who can give you a realistic assessment of your chances are the members of the admissions committees at Princeton, and then only when they have your complete application package in front of them.

In other words: nobody on CC or anywhere else on the Internet.

This message is MIT-specific, but the principle applies to all selective colleges:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/10581800-post1.html</a></p>

Make sure your college list includes some safeties - schools where your stats are well above the norm, that you can pay for under most pessimistic FA assumptions, and where you’d be happy.

Princeton is a long shot for anyone. I think you would need to raise your test scores significantly to be competitive. The other sources that are posted above may be able to help you gauge where you want to be. Also look here to compare yourself to last year’s applicants:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/princeton-university/1114752-official-princeton-university-class-2015-rd-results-thread.html?highlight=2015+decision</a></p>

Looking at the decision thread, seems to me that in addition to almost perfect SAT and SAT2 scores, the applicants had a clear leadership (president or national level finalists) in few ECs. Your GPA is good but your SAT is not reflective of your ranking…Are you taking it again? If you are asking for Bio Med major, your essays/interest need to reflect that passion.

your chances are less than 10% like everyone else

Your SAT I scores are below their 25th percentile. Your chances are well below average.

I would agree with csdad that your chances are below the average, mainly due to your SAT I scores.

*your chances are less than 10% like everyone else *

LOL, that’s not the way it works. It may be a 10% chance when you close your eyes, but people under the 25th percentile obviously have lower chances than people above the 75% percentile.

Think about it.

^That is also not the way it works…
