Chance of Getting into Wake Forest

I love Wake Forest, but don't know if I can get in. I go to a very competitive high school in Howard County, MD with extremely hard courses and teachers. I am a junior but am on track to get a 4.0 for the year. If I maintain this my GPA at the end of junior year will be UW: 3.76 and Weighted: 4.45. I take mostly AP, GT, and Honors courses. I have not yet taken the SAT but got a 2060 on a mock SAT given by a tutor at my school.

Wake Forest: Aim for 30+/2050+

Just an FYI-Wake Forest is now test score optional, meaning you do not have to submit them if you don’t think they will help your application. My daughter applied this year and we are still waiting to hear, but from everything they said during the tour, admissions speeches, meeting with admissions reps etc., you sound like you are in great shape. Good luck!

My gpa and sat are not as high as yours so you have that on your side. But Wake’s supplements and common app essay are a big deal plus the really look at your recommendations. I also applied…chance me
