Hello. I was just wondering...I have a 3.333 cumulative GPA and a 31 on the ACT. Is there a good chance that Wayne State will accept me? I say this because Wayne State is the ONLY school I'm applying to and have a desire to go to. Thank you for your time.

Well, you’re instate which is good. You are above the 75% for ACT and your GPA is at about the 60% level. Also the school has an 85% admit rate. That should be a safety for you.

This is a really late reply, and I apologize in advance for bumping up an old thread, but many people that I’ve talked to have told me the same thing. Why should I think of WSU as just a safety? I did get in by the way.

Wayne State - safety

But, why is it a safety?

Safety because of the high admit rate and where you lie compared to others who apply :D
