Chance of getting Rescinded?

Hey guys! I was admitted to UCI as a freshman for fall 2011, and I am currently a senior in High School.

I'm not taking any AP's or Honors, and for my first semester senior GPA, I got a 2.4, This semester, I'm probably going to get a 2.5-2.6 this semester. Will I get rescinded? I won't make any D's. It's mostly going to be C's. Will I get rescinded?

Has anyone ever gotten a lower than 3.0 weighted and unweighted GPA senior year and still be able to get into a UC they got accepted to?

What was your GPA when you applied?

Hi URich, My GPA upon applying was 3.63 uw, and 3.65w.

bumpity bump bump

bumppp to the top

UCI has a conditional admission contract, but I haven’t read it?

I have read UCLA (3.0 UNweighted for the two semesters combined, no D or F) and Berkeley’s (3.0 UNweighted for EACH of the two Sr. year semesters taken individually, no D or F).

I have heard that the mid tier UCs (I,D, SB) require 3.0 Weighted GPA…

never mind, I found it … took all of five seconds Googling… don’t you know how to Google???

As written below, you are in danger of rescission. You are under 3.0 weighted (you state you aren’t taking any AP or Honors, and your GPA is under 3.0 each semester).

Seriously, call them. I would also make backup plans, because you appear to have severely missed the minimum they require. Assuming they loosely interpret the 3.0 weighted GPA to mean both semesters combined, your best chance is to counterbalance your 2.4 from 1st semester with a 3.6 from 2nd semester.
