Hello, recently I have been accepted into Northeastern University which came as a huge surprise to me as it was really a University that I considered practically impossible to get admitted into with my grades. It says in the terms and conditions that a University has the right to rescind the offer of admission in the future and I have a few worries. Okay, here is the predicament I am having. I applied to the University with two predicted A level grades to go with my SAT scores as I am studying in a British School. I had predicted grades of B in both business and Economics but however in my As exams I only managed to get a C for economics and a D for Business. This doesn’t set me up well for my A2 exams at it will be much harder to just mantain those grades let alone improve them. Therefore do you think there is any chance they might rescind their offer if my final grades were a C and a D after I had made my deposits and finalised all the visa’s and classes and schedules. ( My A2 grades come out around the same time I should be starting my University term ). I am extremely worried about this and it would be great if someone could tell me whether that is likely to happen. Thank you
That D could cause them to rescind your admission. Contact the admissions office because the people there are the only ones who can give you definite answers to your concerns.
