Chance of Stanford?

<p>Looking at Stanford as my very distant reach school, but I'm hopeful! is there any possibility?</p>

<p>4.0 GPA with 6 AP courses and 4 honors
Dancer, cheerleader(captain), piano player
-won 5 medals for piano
Nhs, fbla, FFA, conservation club, knowledge bowl
100+volunteer hours
Looking at around a 2200 on SAT I estimate!
Also have a background in the creation of my own non profit organization! </p>

<p>Any thoughts on my chances? I know it's really, REALLY tough.</p>

<p>Get a really great SAT score (2200+) and I think you might have a shot. But remember that Stanford is EXTREMELY selective. At my school, a valedictorian got rejected from there. So if you can, really try try to bring up your GPA as well (4.5+).</p>

<p>Oh, and definitely keep an open mind about other schools as well. With your GPA and extracurriculars, many other doors will open for you.</p>

<p>You have great academics just make sure to get a good SAT score (2200+) and also check out other schools because you have a good chance at all top schools. A great essay will also help. Good luck!
