Chance on Acceptance to University of Florida

<p>I've been accepted to the following colleges, u of tenn, alabama, auburn , florida atlantic, florida state, university of pitt,univerisity of conn, university of south florida, temple, university of north florida,university of north carolina, clemson, university of central florida but the one i want the most is University of Florida, I find out on 2/10.</p>

<p>Please anyone familiar with the admissions there can give me an idea of what my chances are:</p>

<p>act 28
sat 1880 with a 12 on essay
UF GPA weighted is a 3.9</p>

<p>I have 27 academic courses of which 25 are either ap, honors, or aice (ib)</p>

<p>I have 175 hours of ec's
I am in clubs
I have a great essay (in my opinion)
national honor society</p>

<p>I am a florida resident at a very competitive highschool where I am top 20% and I applied for Summer B.</p>

<p>Any insight would be appreciated</p>

<p>UF is a low reach to match. Your GPA and SAT scores are both a little low but not by much; you should apply as you have a shot (UF does like the rigor of IB or AICE programs, so that could help with your GPA). See the link below to see how you compare to the 2013 Freshmen class. </p>

<p>UF also uses Holistic admissions, about 50% is GPA/TEST/Rigor, the other 50% is EC/Leadership/Essay…so your EC’s, etc., could also help compensate for your GPA/Test scores.</p>
